Cooking With CBD Oil: Tips, Tricks, And Recipes To Get You Started

Cooking With CBD Oil: Tips, Tricks, And Recipes To Get You Started

Now that CBD is readily available, consumers are starting to get creative with their use of the miracle plant. Before you get out the mixing bowls and pots and pans, here are a few tips that will help you get started on your new culinary experience.

Rules to Cook By

Avoid Heat.

When cooking or baking with CBD oil, it is best to avoid going over a temperature of 320F. Above this, CBD will lose its potency and burn, giving a foul flavor. Try adding it as a finishing touch, almost like a garnish, to enjoy the full effect. Add it to your soups, sauces, and cremas, when they’re warm but not boiling. Or, add it to your frostings or dressings instead of in the dish.

Use Healthy Fats

Remember: CBD is fat soluble so it is better absorbed by the body when combined with fat. Some good options include: butter, ghee, grapeseed oil or coconut oil. In the event you’re branching out to CBD cocktails, strong alcohols like whiskey, gin, vodka, or mezcal will work best as they are not water-based and will instead act as an alcohol-based tincture, rather than an oil-based infusion.

Play With Flavors, Not Sugar

What I mean by this is to find complementary flavors to work with your CBD oil, as opposed to creating dishes where you need to cover up the taste. CBD has a strong grass-like flavor, not unlike celery, cilantro, parsley, or lemongrass. Try adding your CBD oil into a summer salsa or guacamole. Making a mint chutney? Experiment with your CBD oil. There’s more to CBD oil cooking than brownies! Taste your oil and experiment with the flavors you think will enhance the oil, rather than just cover it with sugar.

Start Low and Slow

Do not treat your CBD oil the way you use EVOO. You want to start with lower doses to experiment with both the flavor and how you feel after consuming the oil. While CBD does not carry dangerous side-effects with it, too much can cause an upset stomach in some people, as well as dry-mouth, or high blood pressure. Don’t forget, you’re adding your oil into a meal so you will not feel the effects of your CBD oil until it passes through your digestive system, approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours.

Mix Well

Be prepared to stir, shake, and mix your food well! You want to make sure that your CBD oil is well incorporated in your dish in order to have a well-balanced meal and dosage.

Tell Your Guests If You’re Serving them CBD Infused Food

Always inform your guests that there is CBD in their food prior to serving, especially if you are serving cocktails. While CBD is safe, it can interact with certain medications and may cause a dangerous drug interaction if someone unsuspectingly ingests it. Everyone also has a different tolerance to CBD and may also wish to control their own dosage, which can be easily done in the case of it being added to dressings or sauces that can be served on the side.

CBD Oil For Childhood Behavior And Mood Disorders Like Aggression, Depression, And Anxiety

CBD Tinctures Health Benefits For Stuttering, Tourette Syndrome And Ticks, Dementia And Alzheimer’s In The Elderly

While having fewer responsibilities than adulthood, childhood is no walk in the park. Children are constantly learning and adapting to the world around them with fluctuating hormones and limited understanding of emotional intelligence. In some cases, a child may also have developmental or congenital impairments that can add further stress to coping with everyday life as a child. CBD tinctures might just be able to help children manage their moods and behaviors safely and without side effects. Let’s take a look at how CBD can help with childhood aggression, depression, and anxiety.

What is Aggression In Children?

Childhood aggression can present itself in a number of ways. The most common signs of childhood aggression include:

  • Frequent loss of temper or a high intensity anger
  • Extreme irritability
  • Impulsivity and the inability to remain focused
  • Frustration
  • Physical attacks and fights with other children or adults
  • Frequent disruption
  • An argumentative or sullen attitude
  • Poor performance in school
  • Inability to participate in organized activities (events, sports, etc)
  • Difficulty in social situations and making friends
  • Challenges parental authority and refusal to follow rules
  • Denial of responsibility for misbehavior

All children will present with these behaviors at one time or another. Suffering from childhood aggression means displaying many of these behaviors frequently and in all different contexts, meaning at school, at home, with friends or other family, etc.

Why Is My Child Aggressive?

There are several reasons why a child may present with this type of behavior. Here are some of the most common:

Fear

Children are vulnerable and at the mercy of adults in many ways. Like adults, they have a fight or flight response and sometimes that means that fear can produce aggressive behaviors. Lashing out is a natural response to fear, whether physical or emotional based. This type of aggression is typically fairly mild in terms of being easily treated by using coping strategies and recognizing triggers.

Trouble at home

Children are not capable of processing stress the same way adults can. They don’t possess the language or the acumen to vocalize their stressors or worries. When a child is experiencing difficulty in the home, whether it’s sibling rivalry that has gone too far, divorce, or moving to a new home or city, they can experience a multitude of worries, discomfort and fear.

Learning Disabilities

Children spend the majority of time at school and learning. A child who suffers from a learning disability, especially one that has not yet been diagnosed, can feel an immense amount of frustration with zero understanding of why they’re struggling. This frustration can become physical aggression easily.

Neurological Disorders

Neurological disorders are an abnormality in the central nervous system, the brain, or the muscle cells. In children, they can be congenital (for example, spina bifida), or acquired through trauma (for example, traumatic brain injury). If you suspect a neurological disorder, please seek immediate medical help from a specialist.

Behavioral Disorders and Mood Disorders

Behavioral disorders such as attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or  oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and mood disorders such as bipolar disorder or depression, can predispose children to aggression as they are unable to control their impulses and can become increasingly frustrated by getting reprimanded for behavior they don’t feel responsible for, or feelings they don’t understand.

Trauma

Experiencing emotional trauma can be a major factor in childhood aggression. With an increase in fear, anxiety, and depression, there is a high likelihood of the manifestation of physical violence.

Modeled Behavior

Children will model the behavior they see. Limiting exposure to violence, both real and fictional, is important in order to minimize aggression in children, particularly if they are prone to aggression as a result of any of the reasons listed above.

How can CBD Help Treat My Child’s Aggression?

Current Research Outlook

Research regarding CBD and children is still mainly limited to seizure disorders, however there are some promising new studies that suggest that CBD can lower aggression. Scientists are even conducting studies using synthetic CBD in order to test the effects it has on children with severe autism. The goal isn’t to cure autism, rather to see how effective CBD is at reducing or managing the symptoms of severe autism that can greatly impact the quality of life such as aggression, self-harm, and hyperactivity.

Up and Coming Research

Because CBD is now legalized, the floodgates have opened to research possibilities. Scientists are now beginning to look at the effects of CBD (and THC as well to a point) on specific behaviors and moods. Preliminary research has shown a reduction in aggression without affecting locomotor behavior, meaning no neurological impairment and the subjects can move freely without being altered by the CBD. The research is only beginning but the results suggest there’s a possibility that CBD can be used to reduce aggression in children regardless of the trigger. Research already shows that CBD can reduce brain inflammation and even help protect the brain against injury and degeneration through a process called neurogenesis. Additionally, with CBD’s effect on serotonin and anademine, children who suffer from aggression as a result of stress, anxiety, or depression, can find relief with the addition of a CBD tincture to their health regimen.

CBD Oil Tincture For Children With Anxiety

Just like adults, children can suffer from anxiety and experience a decreased quality of life as a result. Thankfully, CBD tinctures can be an easy method of delivering CBD to provide natural relief for anxiety, even in children.

What Does Childhood Anxiety Look Like?

Anxiety in children can be more challenging to diagnose or recognize as it often presents differently from adults. Some symptoms to be mindful of that may indicate your child is suffering from anxiety include:

  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Inability to sleep or remain asleep (having bad dreams)
  • Loss of appetite
  • Increased irritability or outbursts
  • Constant worry or negative thoughts
  • Frequent toileting
  • Frequent fidgeting or restlessness
  • Constant crying
  • Clingy behavior
  • Complaints of tummy aches and feeling unwell

If your child presents with the symptoms, it is likely they are suffering from anxiety. A doctor should always provide a diagnosis in order to rule out any other underlying causes.

How Can CBD Tinctures Provide Relief For Childhood Anxiety?

CBD has the incredible effect of reducing hyperactivity in the amygdala, the center of the brain responsible for fight or flight. When we are experiencing anxiety, our brain is sending signals throughout our body in an attempt to ensure we can escape the danger. When we experience this process frequently, we end up with chronic anxiety, or generalized anxiety disorder. Adding CBD tincture to your child’s health plan can be beneficial to treat their stress and anxiety

CBD Oil Tincture for Children with Depression

What does Childhood Depression Look Like?

Diagnosing depression in children can be difficult as childhood is a tumultuous time psychologically and the symptoms of depression will often be explained as normal emotional and psychological development. Your child might be suffering from depression if they exhibit some of the following symptoms or behaviors:

  • Increased irritability or anger
  • A feeling of hopelessness, worthlessness, or guilt
  • Continuous feeling of sadness
  • Withdrawal from social activities like sports, school outings, or friend playdates
  • Low energy and lethargy, even during activities at home, with friends, in school, etc.
  • Increased sensitivity to rejection or failure
  • Sudden increased or decreased appetite
  • Sleeplessness or oversleeping
  • Increased crying or outbursts
  • Complaints of tummy aches or headaches that don’t improve with treatment
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Thoughts of death or suicide

Just like with anxiety, it is important to seek medical advice to diagnose depression in children. A major hallmark of depression as opposed to just acute feelings of frustration or sadness is that your child will be withdrawn or sad or low-energy in all areas of life, for example at school, home, and with friends.

How can CBD Tinctures Provide Relief for Childhood Depression?

When we’re depressed, our brain isn’t releasing chemicals like serotonin as a reward when we’re experiencing pleasant experiences. This is what causes us to lose interest in things we would otherwise love. CBD regulates our endocannabinoid system and can help us return to homeostasis by increasing the production of chemicals like serotonin. By adding a CBD tincture to your child’s health routine, you can help alleviate some of the negative symptoms that come with depression with fewer side effects than common prescription antidepressants. Just like with any treatment, always discuss adding treatment options with your pediatrician as CBD can interact with some medications.

Final Thoughts

CBD can be a very safe and effective way to treat childhood aggression, depression and anxiety. Before using CBD tinctures on your child, always consult a doctor to ensure it will not interact with any medication your child is currently taking. The known side effects of CBD include:

  • Dry Mouth
  • Low Blood Pressure
  • Light-Headedness
  • Drowsiness

Compared to modern antipsychotics and antidepressants, it is obvious why parents and pediatricians are starting to turn toward CBD as a treatment option. Before you purchase your CBD tincture, please check out our CBD Buyer’s Guide to ensure you know what to look for when buying a CBD tincture

CBD Oil Tinctures From Pregnancy To Breastfeeding

CBD Oil Tinctures From Pregnancy To Breastfeeding

Everyone has an opinion on children; when to have them, how to raise them, what to feed them… It can be overwhelming sifting through the information online, in books, and through podcasts and settling on a method that works best for you. Adding to this is the new legislation and research on CBD and its mainstream coverage. Is CBD safe during pregnancy? How about during breastfeeding? Let’s break it down and see what the science says.

Why Use CBD Oil Tinctures While Pregnant?

Pregnancy is not an easy process for the body to go through. While the body changes to accommodate baby, there are some unpleasant side effects such as:

Not every pregnancy will present with these symptoms, however the majority of pregnancies will experience at least one or more throughout the course of nine months Treating these symptoms can be difficult at the best of times, however due to the connection s via the umbilical cord, treating illnesses and symptoms such as these during a pregnancy poses a much higher risk. It is important to keep in mind that anything consumed or absorbed into the body will also reach the foetus, including medication.

Lovers of CBD are quick to draw the connection between CBD use and symptoms of pregnancy. There is plenty of data to suggest CBD’s effectiveness for treating nausea, vomiting, insomnia, anxiety and other mood disorders, as well as inflammation and pain. Not only do CBD tinctures provide relief from these side effects, it does so with minimal to no side effects of its own. This would appear to be a naturally great fit for pregnancy symptoms, however there is one small problem: Scientific research has been so greatly hindered by the governmental policies that rose mostly out of racism and xenophobia that there is very little research on the use of CBD and pregnancy because it was illegal for so long.

Is CBD Safe During Pregnancy?

This is where things get complicated. There is plenty of research and anecdotal data to support the safe use of CBD for a large variety of illnesses and diseases. To date, there is no research to conclude that ingesting or using CBD is unsafe, even in large doses. That being said, there is also no long-term research completed on pregnancy and CBD. It’s not surprising that so little research has been done to date. Not only has CBD and THC been classified as an illegal substance, meaning doctors and researchers have historically been unable to secure funding to research it, it is also difficult to obtain permission from ethics boards to test on pregnant populations without sufficient backing research that demonstrates the safety of the substance.

Additionally, pregnancy is such a varied process that it can be exceptionally difficult to determine if something is working or not as a result. Just like each person’s endocannabinoid system is uniquely theirs, so too is their pregnancy. So while CBD may be shown to work for one person’s stress, for example, it may not be working on another’s due to other variables that make it difficult to measure whether it’s the CBD not working or something else interfering with its efficacy.

Lastly, in order for a substance to be measured for efficacy as a medical supplement, long-term studies need to be conducted to truly understand the results and safety of the substance. Unfortunately, while pregnancy is a common condition, there isn’t enough interest from the scientific field at the moment to spend the amount of money required to engage in a long-term scientific study. Currently, the majority of research funds are being explored with regards to CBD and mood disorders such as anxiety, depression, and mental illness, as well as diseases like dementia, seizures, and multiple sclerosis. While these studies will help build research showing how safe CBD is for non-pregnant populations, they will still lack specific data on pregnant people.

Should I Use It Then?

Using anything during pregnancy really is a personal choice that should be discussed between you and your doctor. There is absolutely no evidence that CBD poses any threat during pregnancy, however due to the lack of solid clinical evidence (for reasons described above) proving it is safe, some physicians may choose to err on the side of caution. CBD can be an excellent choice in order to avoid more worrisome pharmaceuticals to treat common pregnancy ailments, providing that it is of high quality and properly sourced. With this in mind, always ensure you are purchasing CBD tinctures from a company that provides third-party testing and follows the USFDA regulations. For an in-depth look at how to best choose a CBD tincture, check out this CBD Tincture Buyer’s Guide. One additional tip on purchasing CBD while pregnant: Be sure to only purchase CBD isolate and not CBD full-spectrum. CBD Isolates are free from the cannabinoid THC, the chemical responsible for making you high. There is research to support that THC during pregnancy is harmful and should be avoided.

Can I Use CBD Tinctures While Breastfeeding?

Just like with the umbilical cord, anything consumed post-pregnancy can be transmitted to the baby via breastmilk. Breastfeeding is a popular option for feeding babies as it passes all of the nutrients, immunities, and proteins directly to the child. FOr this reason, it is important for those who are breastfeeding to remain cautious about their medication, alcohol consumption, etc. Cannabinoids are a natural occurrence in breastmilk, regardless of the ingestion of CBD. Because our bodies naturally produce them through the endocannabinoid system, they are an integral part of child development. Just like with pregnancy, there is no research to demonstrate any harm will come to your baby if you ingest CBD. THC, however, should once again be avoided as it has been linked to significant childhood developmental delays. Also important to note is that consuming CBD is not a new or modern habit. CBD has existed for centuries and has long been part of other cultures where it is less taboo than in North America. So while there is little clinical data on breastfeeding and CBD use, there is plenty of anecdotal evidence to support the claims that it remains safe, providing that it is free from THC.

Another benefit of CBD tincture use postpartum is the effects it can have to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, which can peak after birth. Postpartum depression is a serious disorder and if you feel you are suffering from the symptoms, please reach out to your doctor immediately to seek help. You can also discuss the use of CBD with your doctor as part of a treatment plan as the side effects are minimal, especially considering those of the common antidepressants/ SSRIs that are available pharmaceutically.

As mentioned above, the most important thing to consider is the brand and quality of CBD you purchase. Always make sure you’re buying from a trusted source with third-party testing and talk to your doctor about your use. This will ensure there are no reactions with any current medication you are taking and that you and baby remain happy and healthy.

Final Thoughts on Early Childhood and CBD Use

Although the clinical research falls short on CBD and pregnancy, there is still plenty of anecdotal and adjacent research that demonstrates CBD can be safe and effective as treatment for many ailments, including those that are suffered during pregnancy. There is a long history of using CBD’s healing properties throughout pregnancies and no evidence that it is harmful. It is a personal choice whether you wish to use CBD tinctures or other products throughout your pregnancy and breastfeeding. Regardless of what you choose, always speak to your doctor so that they are aware of your decisions and can monitor your health.

Can CBD Tinctures Help With Bodybuilding, Weight Loss, And Muscle Recovery?

Can CBD Tinctures Help With Bodybuilding, Weight Loss, And Muscle Recovery

The worlds of bodybuilding and weight loss are not shy when it comes to using supplements and formulas to gain an advantage. Whether real or perceived benefits exist, the fitness industry spends billions of dollars on nutritional supplements and vitamins to sell so it can be challenging to weed out truly effective supplements from false claims. Can CBD tinctures help you with your fitness goals? Let’s investigate.

How Do We Build Muscle?

Building muscle mass is an important part of keeping healthy. As we age, our muscle naturally begins to atrophy (shrink). Whether you are looking to gain muscle mass as part of keeping fit and healthy, or building muscle mass to compete in weight lifting sports, the process is the same. When we place our muscles under regular resistance or weight, we create tiny tears in the fiber of the muscles which need to be repaired. During this repair process, our body fuses the tears together which increases the size of the muscle. This process is called muscle hypertrophy and it involves hormones such as testosterone, human growth hormone, and insulin.

The Endocannabinoid System and Muscle Growth

Although scientists are still exploring the endocannabinoid system as it’s a relatively new discovery, we do know it’s linked to processes such as appetite, digestion, muscle growth, as well as other mood and emotional processes. Since the endocannabinoid system is responsible for regulating hormones and assisting our bodies with maintaining or returning to homeostasis (a balanced state), it makes sense that there is a link between CBD and muscle growth. CBD is an anti-catabolic, meaning it protects the muscle mass from being broken down by the body’s natural metabolic processes. CBD also inhibits cortisol levels, the stress hormone, which allows for better muscle regeneration as cortisol is responsible for breaking down muscle tissue. These properties of CBD could enhance the body’s natural ability to not only maintain muscle, but to also build it.

CBD and Increasing Endurance and Stamina

It’s hard work building muscle. Regular exercise and challenging yourself to a new personal record means dedication to sweat and tears. In order to push through barriers and plateaus, increased endurance and stamina is required. CBD can help with increasing your stamina in a couple of different ways. The first way in which adding a CBD tincture to your workout routine is by increasing energy. Low doses of CBD reduces your cortisol levels and increases your serotonin which allows you to focus and feel a rush of energy. To be clear, this is not the same sensation as being high from THC. For an in-depth look at the difference between CBD and THC, check out Can I Buy CBD Legally? and Everything You Want to Know About CBD Gummies. This rush of energy can help you get through a tough workout before feeling the fatigue that inevitably sets in.  The second way in which CBD can help you build muscle is by reducing your sensitivity thanks to CBD’s ability to reduce pain and inflammation. With less pain and sensitivity, you can withstand a high-intensity workout or train longer or harder than usual. This does not mean you will suddenly become a Marvel hero, however it could give you enough of an edge to boost your performance and take you into the next level of training.

How do CBD Tinctures Help With Muscle Recovery?

Muscle Recovery is an essential part of weightlifting as it’s impossible to keep gaining muscle without allowing time for the body to heal. If you overtrain you run the risk of injury as well as fatigue. Thankfully, CBD can help with this process as well to really round-out your training routine.

Muscle Recovery Through Sleep to Impact Gains

Like we mentioned in How Do CBD Tinctures Help with Boxing and other Combat and Grappling Sports?, our bodies need restful sleep in order to recover from workouts. When we have a restful sleep, it allows our body to synthesize protein into muscle as it repairs the microtears of the muscle fiber. Not enough sleep means our body can’t properly heal itself and not only will we not build the muscle we want as easily, we’ll also be too sore and fatigued to train efficiently. Taking a CBD tincture after a hard workout or before bed can help relieve your muscle pain, lower your cortisol levels, and allow you to fall into a deep sleep that will help you recover from your training.

Muscle Recovery Through Anti-Inflammation

We’ve discussed at length how CBD is a natural anti-inflammatory. With this effect, it’s no wonder weight lifters and gym enthusiasts are flocking to CBD tinctures. Adding CBD to your workout regimen can help your muscles feel better after working out, allowing for a faster recovery time and more time to hit the weights.

CBD and Cytokines

You might be hearing the term cytokines a lot now, especially with research into COVID-19, the disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 ramps up. Researchers are currently looking at how CBD may be used to treat some of COVID-19’s worst symptoms such as lung damage. The reason for this link is cytokines. Cytokines are protein signals that act as messengers between cells within the immune system. They are responsible for binding to targeted cells in the immune system to regulate disease, infection, and so on. There are several types of cytokines depending on which area is producing them and what their effect is. Bodybuilders and weight trainers, however, are most interested in the balance between proinflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines that are secreted from the immune cells. As mentioned, CBD is a natural anti-inflammatory. In effect, CBD reduces the proinflammatory cytokines, meaning your body is less inflamed and you can recover faster. There is little difference, from a process perspective, between inflammation caused by microtears or injury, and inflammation caused by a pathogen or disease. Either way, the body’s immune response activates and begins a healing process, beginning with the attempt to reduce inflammation. Adding a CBD tincture to your exercise routine can help your body’s overall health and keep you at the bench press longer.

How do CBD Tinctures Help with Weight Loss?

Not everyone hitting the gym is looking to bulk up and compete on stage. Luckily, CBD has some great potential when it comes to good ol’ fashioned weight loss too. The science is still under investigation, however there is promising research showing how CBD’s affect on CB1 receptors affecting metabolism and fat production, appetite suppression, and insulin resistance can aid with weight loss.

What Is The Metabolism

Although we’re often told that weight gain and weight loss is a matter of calories, in actuality, it’s a lot more complicated than that. The metabolism is a complex system with three main purposes: converting food to energy in order to run processes at a cellular level; converting food and fuel for proteins, lipids, nucleic acids, and carbohydrates; and eliminating nitrogenous wastes such as ammonia, urea, uric acid, and creatinine (usually through liver and kidney filtration in the form of urine). When we’re losing weight in a healthy way, the body has to balance and regulate the digestive system, immune system, and nervous system and it does this all through the endocannabinoid system. CBD interacts with two main receptors in our endocannabinoid system; the CB1 receptor and the CB2 receptor.

To recap:

  • CB1 receptors are primarily located in the brain and spinal cord, otherwise known as the central nervous system, however, they also exist in other areas like the liver and fat tissue. These receptors are responsible for regulating brain function and releasing neurotransmitters (or hormones) such as serotonin, dopamine, and glutamate.
  • CB2 receptors are primarily located in the immune system, however, can also be found in areas such as the gastrointestinal tract, peripheral nervous system, fat tissue, and liver. These receptors are responsible for inflammation, and cell survival.
Why is CB1 important to weight loss?

A couple of reasons. First, the central nervous system is responsible for feeding processes such as assessing how much energy our body needs to function and having feelings of hunger. That feeling we get to signal we’re hungry is controlled by the hypothalamus, the small part of the brain located near the pituitary gland that’s responsible for releasing hormones and regulating body temperature. This trigger occurs when there is an imbalance within our hormones, as well as by the binding of the endocannabinoids 2-AG (known for being associated with pain relief, suppression of nausea and vomiting, and the stimulation of appetite) and anandamide (also called the “bliss molecule”) to the CB1 receptors in the hypothalamus. This means that when there are elevated 2-AG levels, it can lead to overeating and obesity.  Secondly, there is a dopamine response related to food intake thanks to the CB1 receptor, which is why we love eating foods that are high in sugar or fat and can become addicted to fast food and candies, etc. CB1 antagonists like CBD might indirectly inhibit the dopamine effect of food  which can lead to weight loss.

Brown Fat, White Fat, and CBD

You might remember from high school science that we have 2 different types of fats: white fat and brown fat. White fat stores energy in big singular droplets of oil throughout the body and in large quantities, leading to obesity or metabolic disorders like diabetes, for example. This is the type of fat we want to lose and maintain a healthy amount of. Brown fat, however, contains many small droplets of oil and also contains a high amount of iron-containing mitochondria, making this type of fat capable of generating heat. Brown fat is what turns fat into energy. As we age, we lose brown fat. Adults who have a healthy active lifestyle have more brown fat than those who do not exercise regularly. CBD has been shown to help boost the metabolism of fat, meaning the proteins responsible for breaking down fat are stimulated therefore aiding in fat loss. It can also increase the mitochondrial activity leading to more calories burned and reduces the process of lipogenesis, otherwise known as the creation of fat cells.

Insulin Resistance and CBD

When we eat, our metabolism is supposed to follow a pattern: We consume food which causes our blood sugar levels to rise. In response to this rise, our pancreas releases insulin which helps the glucose from food to enter our cells. Finally, our cells use the glucose as an energy source. When we overeat glucose (a high sugar diet, for example), our cells are unable to contain the glucose and, despite the signal from our pancreas, our body stops listening and becomes insulin resistant. This causes people to feel hungry then sluggish as their blood glucose levels aren’t steady. Instead of a healthy metabolism pattern, someone who is insulin resistant will have a pattern more like this: They will consume food which causes their blood sugar to rise. The pancreas releases insulin which helps the glucose from food to enter their cells. The insulin won’t work so their blood sugar levels continue rising. The liver converts sugar to fat in order to protect the body from the high levels of sugar, however your cells still need energy so they trigger the appetite response, causing them to eat again and repeat the process. Where does CBD come in? CBD has been shown to enhance our cells’ ability to absorb glucose, meaning we can convert less sugar to fat and as a result, suppress our appetite.

Final Thoughts

With the legalization of CBD in the US and most countries around the world, new research has opened up surrounding the possibilities for CBD as a treatment to disease, disorders, and ailments. In addition to this research, it is also providing a clearer picture of how CBD interacts with the body and what potential it might hold. CBD has a lot of applications, many of which we are likely still unaware of. One thing is clear, however, adding CBD tincture to your workout can improve results whether you want to gain muscle or lose weight.

The Best Abs Workout for a Six-Pack – Best Abs Exercises you can do at Home

The Best Abs Workout for a Six-Pack – Best Abs Exercises you can do at Home

Abs can be pumped up in 30 days.  True, if you download it correctly.  The fact is that the muscles of the press are very hardy in nature and almost do not react with the appearance of cubes for pumping with a large number of repetitions.  From such a load, the press becomes hardy, but almost does not increase in volume.

Therefore, if you need to pump up the press cubes as quickly as possible, you need to train it in a power style (7-9 reps per approach).  Download every other day and instead of crunching without weight, do the prayer exercise on the block, raise your legs in the hang and twist on the fitball with extra weight.

We offer high intensity ab workout that will build you beautiful six pack relief if you do this workout at least 3 times a week. Stay tuned and be healthy

Best Butt Workouts – Video Exercises for a Bigger Butt – Simple Bum Workouts

Best Butt Workouts – Video Exercises for a Bigger Butt – Simple Bum Workouts

Many girls, in pursuit of a quick result, tend to “load” themselves as much as possible immediately and use large weights.  The logic is clear – more weight, which means the buttocks pump up faster.

This is not true.  For a high-quality “pumping” of the priests, you need to choose the weight so that you feel the work of the gluteal muscles, and not the tension of the whole body.  By the way, sometimes, trying to pump up the buttocks, girls “by mistake” swing the front surface of the thigh.

If you “swing” too often or too rarely, you will not have a beautiful priest.  Frequent workouts are not effective because the rest is as necessary for the muscles as the load, and without it the muscles simply will not grow.  About rare training, and so everything is clear.  Muscles are weaned from loads, and you will simply “stagnate” – there will be no result.

The ideal training regimen for the buttocks is 2-3 times a week for three approaches. Use our workout and you will see the first results after a month.

Yoga for Beginners – 30 Minute Home Yoga Workout Exercises Video

In contrast to the prevailing opinion, yoga brings to the norm not only the physical form.  Its main goal is to improve the physical, mental and spiritual state, bring them to harmony.  Practice is based on this principle: not being able to control your body, a person cannot control his emotions and his life.  In the long run, practicing leads the practitioner to inner silence and peace.

To see the specific result of classes, at the initial one should be engaged at least 1 time per week.  After 6-8 weeks of regular practice, you can increase the number of workouts up to 2 times a week.  The second lesson can already be carried out independently at home.  In the future, it is optimal to engage in three times a week.  Many yogis practice daily.  Regular exercises will teach you to own your own body, develop all muscle groups, increase sensitivity.  Yoga helps to gradually lose weight and get fit.  However, this result will not be fast.

Also, breathing practices and hatha yoga help get rid of congestion in the body, normalize blood circulation.  This returns the skin a healthy color and freshness. We offer a good yoga practice for beginners that will help you to feel your body. Do it once a week and in one week you will be ready for intermediate level.

INTRODUCTION

Cannabidiol-more commonly abbreviated as CBD-can now be found in virtually everything, from mascara to lotions to cocktails. And there’s increasing research that shows that CBD has many health benefits, ranging from decreased anxiety, pain relief, better sleeptreatment of PSTDtreating & preventing epilepsy, and decreased depression, treatment of certain skin disorders, to anti-cancer properties. CBD comes in a variety of forms such as CBD oils, CBD Gummy Bear Edibles, beer, and body care products.

Although CBD comes from marijuana plant, it does not cause a “high” effect or any form of intoxication. What causes that feeling of intoxication is the cannabinoid compound known as THC.

When it comes to CBD cocktails, there is absolutely something for everyone. In this cookbook, we have compiled a list of our favorite CBD-infused cocktails that you can prepare and enjoy from the comfort of your home. They will impress your guest.
